Gene Ruyle

Author, Actor, Playwright/Composer, Psychologist, Philosopher, and Episcopal Priest. Born in Beatrice, Nebraska. Enlisted in the Marine Corps right out of high school at tail end of the Korean War, followed by college at the University of Florida, then to seminary in Virginia, and serving for six years in the parish ministry of the diocese of Florida. Then, entered a seven-year doctoral studies program combining philosophy, psychology, theater, and religion to develop a fresh approach to human experience. As a working professional in these fields, I'm also a member of The Dramatists Guild; The Authors Guild; the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Producers; and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
